Would You Have Been a Good Wife in the 1930s?

Friday, March 5, 2010

Just for the fun of it, I tried if I can fit in the 1930's and:

You Would Make a Great 1930's Wife

You've got a few retro ways, and you would make the ideal 1930's wife.

At least, that's how it looks on paper. You may just be an easygoing, pleasant person.

With a personality like yours, you'd be a great wife in any era!

HAHAHA! I'M STILL GLAD I'M IN THIS CENTURY!

I do in-fact think I would be a good wife in the 30's. I love baking bread, cakes, cookies, ect. I love creating new dinners every night.

I am a reformed smoker and really miss it at times.. in the 30's it was perfectly ok to smoke.

However, I do like the updates of today. my washing machine and dryer, disposable diapers, (tampons!) lol... And I don't think I'd be able to "look the other way" if my husband had an affair. And I do like to go out to eat occasionally.

So I too like this century!

yohoo, am i glad that i'm definitely disqualified to answer this question but then had it been the case that i'm qualified, i rather stick to my current times, the reasons..."You have some of the attributes of an ideal 1930's wife... but you probably didn't intend it to be that way.
You don't buy into retro gender roles, though you do embrace your femininity at times.
A 1930's man may find you passable, but you probably wouldn't want anything to do with him".
.....and i didn't tick any of those boxes...
